This is such in interesting card to me. This person has fought long and hard to manifest hir intent, and at the apex of this leg of hir journey s/he appears overburdened with energy and potential options.
I decided to ask my former teacher HeatherAsh Amara about her take on this card. Here's what she had to say: "When you are dealing with the wands suit, it is all about how you are in relationship with your own energy, lows and highs. Ten of wands is about too much energy and what happens when it comes from having taken on too much or when we are learning where to channel immense amounts of energy."
Thank you HeatherAsh! This actually helps me to understand better why this card is #10 in the suit of wands. One of the things that most of us are not taught in life is how to hold and store energy in our human bodies. I think of extreme examples of famous people who ride the intense high of their success until it becomes too much to maintain, then they crash and burn.
This card is telling us that we have achieved the thing we set out to achieve, and now it is time to invest and store the energy of that achievement in the right places. We cannot sustain the level of intense
energy that is moving through us. We need to channel it into places that are safe and in service of our intentions, our lives, and our communities. If we do not channel it steadily into healthy places, we might implode or explode and end up with no energy at all.
If pulling this card is pointing to being over burdened or having taken too much on, this is a time to let go of needing to control it all. Ask for help, and delegate tasks.
This card is an indication of energetic abundance that is much bigger than just one person, even if it was seemingly generated by just one person.
